Thick walls, average Wi-Fi, normal users — not lab conditions. I have set up many systems over the years, I currently have a DECOX60 mesh system. A mesh system means all the routers, where you phone connects to Wifi have the same Password so your phone can speak without loosing Wifi to any router.

I write everything as if I were explaining it to a friend over a cup of tea or coffee or Iced Latte if you are adventurous. We never drank coffee at our home in the 60’s, Mum and Dad were typical of that Generation, tea only. The first time I drank coffee was when I started evening work, after school two nights a week, at Kentucky Fried Chicken !
You may learn something new, this is the way to keep bright and alert as you age, try to understand something new.
